I think I don’t know any grammar.
Actually, scratch that. I know no grammar. Or, I no know grammar. See!
Report:
Nothing has happened in my life. Except the fact that I have a lot more time to write. It means that I will have a lot more time to sit there and do absolutely nothing but wallow in self-pity.
Update:
As many of you can see, I’ve considerably re-vamped my blog. I would love to say that it is the result of tapping into a deeper psychology, but in reality I just realized I had too many things to think about and that I couldn’t fit everything in one space.
The new sections are as follows:
A Cup of Tea - I am a tea girl at heart, so I’ll be researching and giving my very biased opinion on tea. I might also plan some tea parties in the process.
dear diary - This new section contains all of my inner musing and complaints. This is the number one go-to spot if you really want to relax or read about my issues. The titles should determine which one of the aforementioned it is. Fun fact, I have a lot of issues that I vent on my blog.
Stories from the Soul - Stories from the Soul are stories that I wrote and decided to publish on my Substack. My goal is to write one complete story a month, and someday publish all of the stories separately or in a book. But, if not, I hope that people can just give me comments. I’m experimenting with writing styles as it is.
Schedule:
I’ve decided to be a creature of routine and start releasing posts on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Why not? Let’s see how long that lasts.
What’s new in my life:
IT’S COLD! Today, it was like 76 degrees at one point, and I saw dew. On a leaf. In California. And get this, my plants were watered. Winter is here. And it’s going to be good.
Time to get the wool socks out. (Nod to the Cabin Dude’s note.)
On a side note, my aloe vera plants are dying. Not a great sign. Considering that the cold is here. Do aloe vera like cold? Probably not. I know nothing about plants, which is why I only have cacti in my house. How I got the aloe vera is a very long story. Comment to hear it.
Projects and Competitions:
I have no competitions at the start, though I did start a new blog for my mock trial, for purely bonus points reasons. However, I am currently working on 3-5 books, one of which I most certainly have a favorite of. And no, I will not be enlightening people of which one I like best. Although, I might be publishing some chapters as a teaser on Substack…
Recommendations:
Things you should do this week:
Drink a good cup of strong, hot, tea (and burn your tongue. Don’t actually do that. That was me.)
Go to an asian supermarket (and eat all the free samples)
Scroll aimlessly through Substack (and like all my posts if you have time)
Get some sleep (laziness is key, people)
Cuddle up with a book, more tea, a favorite blanket, and whine about getting nothing done.
Questions:
Should I keep posting stories?
What’s something tea-related you want to hear about?
What’s a moodboard, and what are tips for making one?
Should this post (The Wall) count as a post?
